Introduction to Radar Systems
About the course
The course duration is 24 academic hours and will be delivered over 8 meetings of 3 academic hours each
This is a comprehensive and intensive course.
The course, is presented by leading technical expert from industry and academia with many years of experience – prof. Ely Levin
Radars are unique instruments that detect objects in air, land, sea and space. This course gives a broad overview of radar fundamentals, starting from the building blocks, going through propagation effects and covering sub-systems and systems.
Special emphasis is put on defense radars with multi functional capabilities (search, track, track while scan, pulse doppler, FMCW, SAR, Multi Beam, Phased Arrays and MIMO radars) with frequent examples and oral exercises.
Audience
The course audience are project managers and professional engineers without specific background in radio and communications.
